Why I created teamswell

When I first started building teamswell, I'll admit, my vision was a bit blurry. Was it about enhancing safety? Was it about empowering coaches to provide more individualized support? The truth is, it was about all of those things, and yet, it was about something much more profound.

I realized that while many platforms were emerging to streamline tasks for coaches and parents – and those are undoubtedly valuable – something was missing. The athlete's voice. The athlete's experience. The athlete's journey.

Youth sports is about more than just schedules and payments. It's about personal growth, building confidence, fostering teamwork, and discovering a lifelong passion. And yet, so many of the tools we use in youth sports seem to forget the most important person: the athlete.

I'm laser-focused on building a platform that is centered around adding value to the athlete's experience. I want to build something truly special that empowers young athletes to excel in their sports journey and in life.

This isn't just about features; it's about a fundamental shift in perspective. It's about putting athletes at the center of the youth sports ecosystem and providing them with the support, tools, and encouragement they need to thrive.
